DesignInc Sydney is blessed to have a fantastic team that regularly gets involved in fun activities together outside of the normal working day, and a big highlight of the year is the annual ski trip. Organised and planned by the team, the ski trip is a fantastic weekend away where we can enjoy each other’s company and is open to all to attend.
This year, our DesignInc Sydney Team were thrilled to hit the snow season for a two-night stay at Australia’s premium alpine destination, Thredbo.
Known for its beauty, and home to Australia’s best ski runs and hiking trails, we were delighted to have shared this experience with nineteen of our Sydney team members.
Having arrived at Australia’s most impressive snow mountain, following a five-hour trip, the team were ready to indulge in the festivities that Thredbo had to offer.
From scenic chairlift routes, to skiing and snowboarding on several terrain parks, the team showed true leadership, friendship, and encouragement. The team then came together each night to share their day over dinner, which was supplied and cooked by our very own Principle Interiors, David Taylor!
According to our Architectural Assistant, Patrick Ormsby, the trip was a great success.
“What I enjoyed most was getting on the slopes and skiing with my workmates. I’m only a novice skier but I was getting a lot of support and advice from the team. In addition, skiing was so much fun and the weather was really beautiful for the most of it!”
We are thrilled with the feedback we received from this trip, but above all else, for our members to feel a sense of belonging to an organisation and part of an inspiring team.
